VITA-MED Ophthalmology Clinic

was established in 2003 as a result of the transformation of the Department and Ophthalmology Clinics of the Health Care Center Hospital in Głogów. We are, therefore, the continuators of many years of experience of employees related to the Głogów hospital, taking care of patients and using many years of experience with highly specialized equipment (AF, laser).

After privatization, dynamic development and restructuring took place. We changed the location, adopting the lower wing of the hospital building for our needs. We have acquired a new team of specialists, we have acquired the highest-quality equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases for the center. We changed the organizational structure by enriching the NZOZ, apart from the General Ophthalmology Clinic, with the Glaucoma Treatment Clinic, the Retinal Disease Clinic, the Children’s Ophthalmology Clinic and the “one-day” Surgery Department (performing ophthalmic and ENT procedures).

At the beginning of 2013, NZOZ VITA-MED was transformed into a Sp. z o. o. Since then, we have been operating as the  VITA-MED Ophthalmology Clinic. In our center, we offer patients professional ophthalmic care based on proven, safe global standards. We take care of the continuous improvement of qualifications by all employees of our team. We treat our patients with due respect and care, ensuring that a friendly atmosphere influences mutual trust and gives patients a sense of security, trust and caring close to their place of residence..

We provide services both fully paid, reimbursed by the National Health Fund and contracts with private insurers.

From January 1, 2017, the VITA-MED Eye Clinic is located in a new, modern building at ul. Legnicka 5. The visual identity and the logo of the VITA-MED Ophthalmology Clinic have also changed.
